 Verified Can’t recommend this talk enough. As already mentioned you feel as if a friend is taking you for a walk and sharing so much information with you. We have regularly visited Porthleven but David pointed out things we had never noticed and so much more. He explained and confirmed things we had wondered about.  Verified An must-do for any trip to Porthleven David is incredibly knowledgeable and his tour is fascinating!! The tour is very immersive and Porthleven has a completely different feel to it once you’ve heard all the history and stories of those who lived here in the past.  Verified Fun, professional, informative This is an exceptional 'tour'. Feels more Like a friend taking you for a walk. It feels easy and fluid but it is underpinned with an extraordinary amount of knowledge and endless genuine enthusiasm .  Verified Short walk. Long history. If you’re going to stay in Porthleven for any amount of time, it is worth it to take this tour, simply to familiarize yourself with the village and gain a deeper appreciation for its history and culture. David is extremely personable and passionate about Porthleven. He gave a very comprehensive tour and answered all our questions.

 Verified A deeper appreciation of Porthleven and Cornwall. David is a knowledgeable and passionate guide and storyteller. His enthusiasm never flagged and he knows how to situate his stories in the long history of Cornwall from the saints of the 5th century through to the present day.  Verified 4 Hours Very Well Spent Despite it being bitterly cold David made the 4 hour tour (that flew by) with his knowledge. Great value for money but this tour and the one on the 12th Dec are free with any donations going to ‘The Foodbank’. Would recommend this tour to anyone that would like to learn more history and facts about this amazing place.

 Verified Fantastic experience The guided walk with David was really interesting and entertaining. He was good company and the pace of the tour was just right. It has made our stay in Porthleven even more enjoyable !
